BABYLON (JERUSALEM WHICH NOW IS)

Thou hast a name that thou livest…

July 7, 2009

And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.

(Revelation 3:1-2 KJV)

There are many today that talk about the condition of the Laodicean church when referring to churches today that have become lukewarm, but there is another kind of condition that we must deal with, it is called Sardisism! To begin, these words were directed to “the angel of the church of Sardis” which is the messenger of the church. The word angel means messenger. Oftentimes people read the rebukes to the churches, and focus in on and put all the blame on the congregation instead of focusing in on the Ministry that is responsible for allowing the congregation to get into the condition it is in. There are many messengers that have a name and reputation that they are alive but they are really dead. If the messenger is dead everyone under his ministry is under the ministration of dead, and are ready to die.

Right off the bat, the Lord focused on the messenger of the church, and told him “I know thy works.” Right after that he told him “thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.” The messenger’s works determine whether he is dead or alive. Some are fooled to believe that their evil works will be overlooked by all the good accomplishments that they have done. Little by little they become a dead tree of the knowledge of good and of evil, a tree of mixed fruit, a tree of hypocrisy! All the accomplishments in the world can not blind the eyes of the Son of God from all the slander, gossip, pride, arrogance, and self exaltation of a dead messenger.

The Son of God instructed the messenger of the church of Sardis to “Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.” Jesus told the MESSENGER to be watchful. Jesus told the MESSENGER to strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die. Jesus told the MESSENGER that He did not find the MESSENGER’S works perfect before God. The works that the Lord saw in the messenger of the church of Sardis was dead works. The reason why the messenger fell into that predicament is because he was not watching, he was not being led of the mind of God. Somewhere along the line that messenger developed his own mind, and his own will. No one that is dead can say they were being led by the mind of God, if they do they are lying. If they are dead, they can say “Oh, I feel the Holy Ghost” all they want but it don’t mean God is with them. They might be feeling the Spirit of God upon them resisting them, but mistaking it as the approval of God.

When Jesus told the messenger of the church of Sardis to “strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die” the “things” He was talking about was the congregation. If the messenger is dead, what do you think will happen to the congregation? They will share the inheritance of someone that ate off a tree of the knowledge of good, and of evil. If the messenger is dead, what do you think will happen to his ministry? His ministry will become a ministration of death.

Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.

(Revelation 3:3-4 KJV)

The Son of God was calling the messenger of the church to repent, and warning the messenger of the church that if he did not take heed to the warning He would come upon him as a thief. He also told the messenger of the church that their were a few names that followed his ministry that “have not defiled their garments” under his ministration of death. Those few names are the only ones alive, and keeping things alive in that congregation. The messengers of modern day Sardis DEFILED THEIR GARMENTS, and are NOT numbered among the few! Defiling one’s garments is not talking about getting your clothes dirty, it is talking about getting your spiritual garments dirty with a prideful carnal mind that fights against the mind of God.

And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. (Jude 1:23 KJV)

The messengers of modern day Sardis’ are dead, and full of dead works! The messengers of modern day Sardis’ are carnal minded, and not being led of the Spirit of Truth. Some of the messengers of modern day Sardis’ have a chance to repent, before the Son of God comes upon them, and when He comes upon them they will not be speaking in tongues, or prophesying! If they don’t repent the Son of God will come upon them and they will not be “feeling the Anointing of God” they will be feeling the wrath of God, and they won’t even see it coming. It might be right in front of everyone, or it might be when they are sleeping, or on they way to and fro from some specific location. It will be unexpected. It could even be in a natural peaceful death of old age. When death catches the messengers of modern day Sardis’ their space of repentance will be over, and they will be locked into the spiritual deadness that the Son of God declared unto them while they were still alive! It is finished! No more time to get it right! Wouldn’t it be a shame to go to church every week and the messenger was dead in the eyes of God, and only a few names in the congregation were righteous? The Scriptures have corrections for everyone, including the messengers of the churches that have a name that they live, but are really dead.

He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

(Revelation 3:5-6 KJV)

It is possible for someone remain righteous even if the messenger is dead. If the messenger is dead that does not have to cause the few to compromise and go off into sin. If we continue to be faithful unto God’s holy covenant, the New Covenant, we won’t have our names blotted out of the Book of Life. There’s no such thing as “once saved always saved” because God can write your name in the Book of Life, and then blot it out if we don’t overcome sin and death! Same thing goes with the messenger, no such thing as “once a messenger always a messenger.” We all must maintain the righteousness of God, and keep our names in the Book of Life, and not be walking corpses.

Trouble is headed our way

July 1, 2009

Right now in America, we are living in a time where many churches are sleeping, and do not see the persecution that will come upon the people of God worldwide. Even among the churches that received the understanding that the Church will indeed go through great tribulation there will be those that will fall away because they have not fully received the love for the truth enough to receive the complete mind of Christ.

In the days that are to come, many will betray one another, and in those days the hatred that dwells in the hearts of many that seek to make a name for themselves will drive them to reveal the spirit of Judas within them. It will be the sin of selfishness, and pride that will force many to betray one another. It will be the sin of selfishness, and pride that will reveal that the love (agape) of God has waxen cold! People who at one time contained the love of God in their hearts, will become worshippers of their ownselves because the love they once had has rotten away like a fruit fallen to the ground full of worms.

People of God, remove yourselves from any hint of pride right now while you have a chance or you will be come antichrists in that day. Do not be deceived by pride believing pride is power because it will kill you, and everyone else connected with you. Pride is a contagious sinful disease that will consume the love of God out of your heart. If you don’t believe me, look at the sons of pride, they are already dead while they yet live. If pride makes its abode in the hearts of God’s people they are in danger of becoming twice dead. Humble yourself, and grace is yours. Trouble is headed our way.

WHO IS LIKE THE LORD:

Written by: ©nevarez

Who is like the LORD? O that the children of men would trust firmly in His name, and call upon Him. The LORD sits upon His throne of majesty in the heavens, and in His splendid glory He does reign. He commands the light to spread forth around Him, and it obeys Him without hesitation. All that serve Him tremble at His presence because of the great power of His strength, even all His enemies pretend obedience for fear of Him. Who can stand if He rise up, and who will not fall as one dead when He approaches? Do not fear O righteous ones, He will not let harm come upon you. He will answer you when you are in distress, and shall drive away all your strong adversaries like the dust of the earth. He is the LORD of hosts, who can find out the number of His innumerable army? Fear not O righteous ones, the LORD Himself shall rise up and fight for you, and shall cast down all the proud ones. Call upon His name, His ears are open to your cry. He will remember you for His covenants sake, You are the redeemed of the LORD. For all this great kindness, who will not worship Him with all their soul? Who is like the LORD among the gods? There is none!

VALUABLE:

Written by: ©nevarez

With my whole heart will I seek You because You first sought me. I had no value, worthless. I was dust; I was a rock of rejection. My soul was filled with agony. My tears turned into rivers of waters. I thought no one took notice of me; depression would not flee from me. Sweet water tasted bitter, and prepared food made me desire hunger. I was broken; crushed; my heart was grinded into powder. The pain felt everlasting. I desired love; I desired love, love was my only hope of escape. When I was at the point of death You embraced me, when I lost everything You were my company. Even when You were silent, Your presence brought me to my face. You made me feel valuable. The merchant searches for the finest jewel, when he finds it he rejoices over something lifeless, but You have rejected all his merchandise for my life. I will never forsake You, I will seek You with my whole heart.

CRY ABBA:

Written by: ©nevarez

When I am in distress, and when I do not know what to say, my soul cries Abba. I am in complete submission to Your will, and to Your will alone. You are my Father and I am Your son. When I am tried, and tempted, I am looking for the way of escape You have prepared for me. I am willing to suffer, because of the love I have for You, because You have never forsaken me. I would rather lay down my life than to break covenant with You. It is Your breath that has made me a living soul, and Your Spirit made me Your son. I am Your image, and reflect Your character, not my own character. Exalt and glorify Your righteous name in my body, for it is Your Spirit that is in me that does the works. I am in You, and You are in me, and we are one spirit because Your spirit has been joined unto mine. Because You have adopted me, I will forever cry Abba!

THE KING’S HEART: (MP3)

Written by: ©nevarez

What is on Your mind, O mighty King? Your servant is ready to know the thoughts of my LORD. When You are silent, I wait for Your mouth to open. My eyes look steadfastly on Your lips, and my ears long to hear wisdom & righteous judgment. I fear and tremble because I want accomplish exactly what You purpose in Your heart. Call my name, and I am at Your service. Your whole Kingdom trusts in You, and our life is continually in Your right hand. We have heard that many nations are rising up against us. The prophets have already spoken of Your victory, Your foot shall rest on all that oppose You. Whatever You say shall come to pass. The soldiers of Your army are willing to die for Your name. Be strong, City of God, the King shall save us by the power of His love! Yes there is great power in the King’s heart. The King loves His people, and He shall save us!

TRUE LOVE:

Written by: ©nevarez

LORD, I am hated for Your name, but I count it all joy. I have done no evil but my life is still sought after. My heart pounds for the love I have for Your glorious gospel, surely You are greater than Moses that delivered the people from Egypt. I am not ashamed of calling You my LORD and my King, to You do my knees bow both day and night. I wait for Your commandment, I will follow You where ever You go, lead me and I will follow You to the slaughter. Though the heathen threaten to cut me off from the land of the living, I will not be shaken, nor will my soul fear because I love You more than mortality. Yes, I love You more than everything that is in this world, because You poured out Your soul as an offering for my sins. You spilled Your priceless blood while I was yet in iniquity. The lambs of the earth look at You and marvel, for they no longer have to suffer because You gave them rest from the shearer, and we have taken their place also. The wicked can take my life, and my soul can rest in hope that my blood will cry out against them. Nothing can pull me asunder because Your Spirit is joined to my spirit. Death cannot separate me from Your love. I will not fear what man can do to me because You are with me.

FREE WILL OFFERING:

Written by: ©nevarez

The LORD gives, the LORD takes, and the LORD makes alive again. You are my maker, and my fashioner. You know me more than I know myself. It is from You that I can find my purpose, what it is I do not know, but with my whole heart I chase after it. What was on Your mind before You planted my soul within the body? What did You see? What was my end before I had a beginning? Which way should I go, and when will You reveal Your secret unto me? Let Your voice be my guide through the path that has already been paved. What is ahead of me I will not fear because You are with me. And when I offer my spirit as a sacrifice of praise, place it under Your altar with the rest of the souls that laid down their lives that they may take it back again. Resurrect me according to Your promise, O LORD.

A POOR MAN’S PRAISE: (MP3)

Written by: ©nevarez

My heart is filled with praise, and my soul shall sing of You forever. When I was all alone in the day, You came to sit with me, and I did not know why. When I was embarrassed because the dirt on my face became as my skin, You did not reject me to be with rich people. I saw the people drawing near and I walked away because I did not want to bring You shame. But You placed You right hand on my shoulder and told me to stay, and I stared at Your face in awe. My lips were dry for thirst, and You stuck both of Your hands into a well to let me drink water from Your hands. I did not feel worthy of all Your kindness towards me, no one ever did what You did. The whole time I did not say a word, I could not find the words to say unto You. Then You sung a beautiful song unto me of the God who made both the rich and the poor, and tears fell down my face making the dirt into mud because You gave me hope. At Your feet I bowed down to the earth and worshiped the God of my fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Then I fell into a sleep, and when I woke, You were gone. I searched for You with the rest of the poor that You had comforted, and they told me You were the Messiah, our deliverer. You found me before I could find You. You found me when I was not looking for You. My heart is filled with praise, and my soul shall sing of You forever.

I am your friend. I am here for you in anything that you need. What is mine is yours, even as what is yours is mine. You do not have to beg me for anything, our friendship is closer than our own relatives. I am here to encourage you when doubt comes, and rejoice with you when your faith becomes a reality. When you are down, I am troubled. When you smile, I am filled with joy. I am willing to die for you because my love for you abounds. I am your friend until my last breath.

The Sons of Pride

June 23, 2009

The Sons of Pride

By: Elder K. Clark

Pride the author of every evil work, and the enemy of all humility successfully birthing conceited men daily by convincing them of their own self importance. These “sons” of pride were often first esteemed as notable leaders in our local church communities riding undetected most of the time under the titles pastors, teachers, evangelists, prophets or apostles. Nevertheless, several of these leaders have fallen prey to the voice of pride promising them power, fame, wealth, and a name.

Observe the statements I made, they were “first esteemed as notable leaders” but have “fallen prey”. These sons of conceit resemble the ministry of Saul the King of Israel who was filled with humbleness in the beginning and was positioned over the house of the LORD and received revelation and understanding. But during his rule pride presented itself offering him power, fame, wealth, and a name.

Equally these “Sons” of arrogance (once good men) were also positioned over the houses of the LORD and received revelations and understanding only to be snared by pride. They ramp and rave “It’s for the Kingdom”. But who’s kingdom, their own? These men are intoxicated with pride driven fiercely out of control having no voice of reason except it offers them the pleasure of seeing others plummet. They pulsated off other people’s failures driven with thrill to look down on others misfortunes esteeming themselves to be of some better-value.

These men think too much of themselves. In their own eyes, everyone else are novices, unlearned, uneducated, and in need of guidance preferably by them. In their own minds there’s no understanding outside of their own inner-circle and only their congregation of two and a handful of followers will be saved. They seem to believe God only called them, only gave them understanding, only sent them and only gave them a name.

These “sons” of haughtiness stand emotionless when they speak evil of good men labeling them as dogs, reprobated wolfs and condemning them to hell. They have no remorse when they curse the churches of the living God by marking them as houses of dogs and waste camps. They lose no sleep after they stand in the pulpit to persecute the humble with their mouth and when these works are done these same persecutors (“sons” of self-manage) turn to play the wounded. Complaining about being the victim of robbery and sarcasm, and often pretending to lose motivation and interest to work for the LORD just to receive emails and phone calls from others begging them not to surrender, only to steal God’s glory.

These “sons” of self-glory have mastered the art of playing the victim and through their mastery they convert strays, wanders, drifters, and the churchless. These outcasts snared by the sons of haughtiness will soon become nothing more than puppets, and trophies of the pride to be showboated on the internet meat market. But once the men and women they’ve converted realize they’re being used as mere puppets, and trophies they are left to be wandering stars, and the same “sons” of self-glory that spoke so highly of the puppets, and trophies they gained will turn to mock and ridicule the men and women they’ve helped become wanderers.

These sons of self-glory will unfortunately go the length traveling seas to pimp the innocent when they boast about their own accomplishments.

Who should fear these sons of self-exaltation blowing their own horns of achievements? Should I, should you? Hogwash! Why should I fear high-minded men that intentionally exploit the name of the LORD with an aim to make others submit to their lust of pride and power? Why should anyone be alarmed of men that teach repentance but don’t have a conscience of repentance before or after they’ve been confronted? These sons of self-righteousness are simply locomotives fueled by their own steam masquerading under the name of the LORD.

These “sons” of pride just as Saul the King have no idea when to step down but remain teachers that can’t be taught, instructors that can’t be instructed, they rebuke but can’t be rebuked. They correct but they can’t be corrected. They are in the Law but above the law believing them-selves to be in the best position to judge, and mock others. These “sons” of self-promotion will never repent of the pride of being their own biggest fan. They are both the entertainer and the audience. They’re their own pep rally convinced that their pride is an anointing from God almighty.

These “sons” of self-worship befriend good men, and like Judas betrays them by trying to steal their members when they lay hands on them just to claim them as their own sons. These “sons” of self worship will prophesy falsely claiming certain men would never receive the Holy Ghost unless they join their church.

These “sons” of self praise scream from the mountain asserting and noting certain men to be in error, yet they will never approach the men they declare to be in the error. No! They will only idolize themselves by writing books, posting on blogs, forums and internet sites about things they have never discussed with the men being accused. Now who is getting the Glory? Themselves!

These sons of selfishness, will continue to act like children pouting on blogs, forums and internet about, “it’s mine, it’s mine, it’s mine, give it back, give it back, you can’t have it.” This egotistical behavior proves their mission was never intended to glorify the LORD. These sons of know-it-all will read this article and instead of repenting of their error empowered by the spirit of pride will write their own article fulfilling everything written here.

These self-focused sons of pride guided by their own spirits will not be stopped from stretching the truth about things that never happened, about healings that never happened, rescues that never happened, conversions that never happened, miracles that never happened, and any other supernatural event declare to be truth which never happened just to build up their own ministry. These same men will be driven for years to teach a particular doctrine, convincing others, only to change (without repentance) their views and turning to mock and ridicule the people they converted. Whenever these sons of pride aren’t the inventors of certain truths, they will hide it and speak evil of it, only to later with a spin preach the doctrine that they spoke evil of then later calling it their own.

Thus there is simply more hope for a fool than for a proud person. You’re almost forced to have pity on these sons of “look-at-me, I started it, I received it first, and I was the first. It was me that begin it. I’m the man of God and God sent me” but I just can’t give these sons of self-pity the satisfaction.

Identifying a “son” of pride doesn’t take long just listen to the conversations which will always begin and end with “THEM” with an occasional mention of God. Their behavior is always in a superior tone having no idea when to stop talking about them-selves and let another man praise them instead of their own lips and fingers.

Messianic = Christian = Messianic

June 5, 2009

I remember some years back someone asked me about the origin of the word Messianic. It was a really good question. That question stayed on my mind for a long time. As you know, I did all the research I could, and I found that it was equal to the word Christian. Keep this in mind, not everyone that says they are Messianic are truly Messianic, even as not many that say they are Christian are true Christians. Many Messianic rabbis refrain from using the word Christian (Christianos) because of its Greek etymology, and use the word Messianic (Mashikhi/Meshikhi) because of its Hebrew origin. Here is evidence that convinced me both the words Messianic & Christian are one and the same.

And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called CHRISTIANS first in Antioch. (Act 11:26 KJV)

Some would say, “Ah, this was a mockery, Christian is a derogatory term, we should never identify ourselves as Christians!” Now, take a look at that same verse in the Hebrew Names Version also called the Messianic Version of the Scriptures.

When he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. It happened, that for a whole year they were gathered together with the assembly, and taught many people. The disciples were first called MESSIANIC in Antioch. (Acts 11:26 HNV)

Did you catch that? If Christian is a derogatory word, then so is Messianic! If we say the word Christian is derogatory we equally have to say Messianic is derogatory also. No matter which way you want to flip the pancake it is still the same thing. You can try to fill in the blank (The disciples were first called _______ in Antioch) with any word you want but you will have to denounce that one too! If the early believers were not Christians why were the apostles persuading men to be Christians?

Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a CHRISTIAN. (Act 26:28 KJV)

This is plain, our beloved apostle was persuading Agrippa to become a Christian, that is equal to to say he was persuading him to be a Messianic.

Agrippa said to Paul, “With a little persuasion are you trying to make me a MESSIANIC?” (Acts 26:28 HNV)

It is clear by the Scripture that Christian and Messianic is the same. Christian means “People of Christ” and Messianic means “People of Messiah.” There is nothing wrong with being called a Christian or a Messianic. What is hypocritical is to say the word Christian is a derogatory term, and then use the word Messianic when they both mean THE SAME THING. This post was made to squash the language barrier between Jews & Gentiles (Nations). Anyone that makes it an issue to use words like “Christ” or “Christian” and teaches it is wrong to use these words because it is a Greek word is unlearned, and is a borderline racist if they are not already. Remember, and follow the words of Paul:

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. (Romans 1:16)

Christ = (Christos) “Anointed One” in Greek

Messiah = (Mashiakh/Meshiakh) “Anointed One” in Hebrew

Christian = (Christianos) “People of Christ” in Greek

Messianic = (Mashikhi/Meshikhi) “People of Messiah” in Hebrew

The True Origin of the word Judaism

June 4, 2009

As I wrote in my profile, “This is not your typical ‘Christian’ or ‘Messianic’ site.” For those who might come across this site by surfing the web searching for a Messianic site that is teaching sound doctrine this is not your typical Messianic site. How so? First off, I use the words Christian/Messianic, Christ/Messiah, Jesus/Yeshua  interchangeably. Many of the so-called Messianic sites would not even dare do that because they feel like they will loose their Jewishness by using a word in the Greek language. Such are not a true light to the nations, they are not even a light to the house of Israel. I have proved before how that Messianic and Christian mean the same thing, just transliterations from two different languages. If I have to prove it again, I don’t mind doing so.

The next thing that separates this site from your typical Messianic site is that I do not hold to what is called Messianic “Judaism.” Messianic is fine, but not Judaism. Many do not even know the history of the word Judaism before they swallow the pill. One of the common myths is that Abraham was the founder of Judaism. False! Judaism DID NOT exist in Abraham’s day, Judah was not even born! The so-called scholars missed that. Isaac did not practice Judaism, Jacob did not practice Judaism. All of those myths are false, and lies. Many today do not know the true origin of Judaism, they just know the common philosophy. Many, right off the bat, believe that Judaism is the religion of ancient Israel without even taking the time to do some research to see if that information is actually true. So for those that haven’t done their homework, I will give you a helping hand.

According to “The Encyclopedia of Religion: Volume 5 – page 127” the word Judaism did not exsist until the Hellenistic era, during the reign of Alexander the Great.

“Neither of the sacred Jewish classics, the Bible or the Talmud, speaks of “Judaism.” Hellenistic Jews created this Greek word to describe their uncommon way of serving God (2 Mc 2:21, 8:1, 14:38; Gal. 1:13-14). All such mediating terms, because they utilize alien categories as the means of self-representation, necessarily distort as much as they explain. Thus, while the Jews of the first century CE intergrated their ethnicity and their religion, Paul, writing Galatians for gentile readers, must sunder faith from folk in order to communicate.”

Before the Hellenistic era, the religion of God was never known as Judaism. There is no proof of such a claim. The religion of God was always Holiness from the very Beginning, even from eternity. The Messiah rebuked that religion throughout His ministry on earth. And to speak further, Paul, God’s apostle, forsook the religion of Judaism.

“For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews’ religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it: And profited in the Jews’ religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.” (Galatians 1:13-14)

The Greek word for “Jews’ religion” is Ioudaismos (which is the word that the Hellenistic Jews created). For those that do not know what Hellenistic Jews are, Hellenistic Jews were Jews that spoke the Greek language (around 300 B.C.). The word “Hellen” means “Greek” in the Greek language. The funny thing is that many that claim to be Messianics hate words of Greek origin (which is a form of racism) but yet they don’t have a problem with using words like “Judaism” and “synagogue” which are both of Greek origin. The apostle said “ye have heard of my conversation in time past” which implies that this was the past religion he put away. To add to that, if Judaism is approved of God, then Judaizing would have to be acceptable. I said that to say this, Paul rebuked Peter for Judaizing.

“But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?” (Galatians 2:14)

The Greek word for “live as do the Jews” is Ioudaizo (which means to Judaize). Paul rebuked Peter for Judaizing the Gentiles. Therefore, from the scripture, we see Paul forsaking Judaism, and rebuking Peter for Judaizing. It is clear that Judaism is not the faith of our fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The problem is when someone begins to promote Messianic “Judaism” without doing some research on the word “Judaism” they are like a train going 150 mph and will not come to a complete stop immediately because the train will be destroyed.

For some people the hardest thing in the world to do is to say, “I was wrong.” Instead, they only try to find ways to justify the work of their hands, begin to verbally persecute, and slander anyone that disagrees with what they are trying to establish just like Judaism has done to the people of God throughout history. The first to coin the phrase “Messianic Judaism” is a man named Martin Chernoff who said he saw a vision of  a banner across the sky and it said Messianic Judaism. Before this, no one ever heard of the term “Messianic Judaism.”

You won’t find many sites that will give you the true history behind the new denomination called “Messianic Judaism.” The main purpose behind mixing the Messianic faith with Judaism is to make conversion easier for Jews and send a message that they can still practice Judaism and believe in the New Covenant. What is next Messianic Buddhism? How about Messianic Hinduism? Or maybe even Messianic Taoism? Compromise, and foolishness! When will the Scriptures ever be enough to identify what we are? Why do so many stick more to man-made denominations instead of sticking to what is written? We are living in a time where people are falling away from what is written, and turning unto fables. Do you actually believe what is written?

I would really like for someone that disagrees to step up and challenge my consistency. I confess that the religion of the holy angels, holy prophets, holy one, holy apostles, and holy nation is HOLINESS, not apostolic. I can back up everything I write with Scripture & history, and the devil hates that.  Stick to what is written, and away with the rest!

This site holds that if you want to be saved you have to be willing to come out of every false religion including every form of Judaism. If you come out, come out all the way, or don’t come out at all. If you believe in Messianic “Judaism” you still have connection to the religion of MYSTERY BABYLON, and are eating from a tree of hypocrisy, a tree of mixed fruit (good & evil). I know this is not popular, but this is true light, and as I said this is not your typical Messianic site. If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a reply.

Better to be a humble servant

June 3, 2009

One of the greatest things I have ever learned from the example that Messiah left us is that the servant is a high position in the sight of God. If we desire to be someone great we must first humble ourselves and become a servant. The character of a servant is not centered around their own selves, but on the needs and desires of others. When we serve others it shows we truely care about the people and not out for our own gain.

There are many today that only care about themselves and how they can use others to prosper themselves, these have the nature of a vulture, sitting in high places waiting to steel another animal’s food that they labored to catch (God is not pleased in such greedy behavior). Selfish people never make good leaders because they cannot be trusted, not even in a simple prayer request, much less money.

God has always caused humble people to receive very high positions because they care about leaving an good inheritance for the people of God after they die in holiness. We see this clearly with our father Abraham who desired a son to pass to him an inheritance before he died. He cared about his family and God made him a father of many nations as He promised.

And how can we forget about the example that our Messiah set for us? Though He is the true King of the Jews & Israel, He did not dress Himself with gold and silver, nor did He live in a palace with servants to feed Him and give Him drink. Instead the Christ humbled Himself and became a servant to the House of Israel, Judah, and to the Nations that desired Him. It was through His service of humility that God highly exalted Him, and gave Him a name that is above every name, God’s own name (JESUS).

Jesus called the apostles and said, “You know that the rulers of nations have absolute power over people and their officials have absolute authority over people. But that’s not the way it’s going to be among you. Whoever wants to become great among you will be your servant. Whoever wants to be most important among you will be your slave. It’s the same way with the Son of Man. He didn’t come so that others could serve him. He came to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many people.” (Mat 20:25-28 GW)

For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted. (Luk 14:11 KJV)

Beware of the sin of Pride

June 3, 2009

One of the most deadliest sins that the heavens and the earth has ever come into contact with is a sin called pride. Pride is the root and source of all sin. Pride is what condemned the devil, or as the scripture says, “the condemnation of the devil.” Pride is selfishness, and exalting oneself above the mind of God. We are living in a time where pride is something that many people are proud of, and actually encourage one another to posses. What many people fail to understand is what the Scriptures teach us about pride. Is pride something that should be found among the people of God? In this blog we are going to dive into the Scriptures to see how God feels about pride according to what is written in the Holy Scriptures. I know that what you about to read is contrary to the common thought, but it is going to test how much do you really believe what is written. If you find yourself fighting against the Scriptures, or trying to find some way to justify pride in your life, this blog served it’s purpose by revealing the children of pride.

The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate. (Proverbs 8:13)

When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom. (Proverbs 11:2)

Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom. (Proverbs 13:10)

In the mouth of the foolish is a rod of pride: but the lips of the wise shall preserve them. (Proverbs 14:3)

Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall. (Proverbs 16:18)

A man’s pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit. (Proverbs 29:23)

But when his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him: (Daniel 5:20)

The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground? (Obadiah 1:3)

And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man. (Mark 7:20-23)

These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren. (Proverbs 6:16-19)

Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished. (Proverbs 16:5)

He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in the LORD shall be made fat. (Proverbs 28:25)

For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low: (Isaiah 2:12)

And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. (Isaiah 13:11)

Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. (Romans 1:29-32)

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. (2 Timothy 3:1-5)

But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. (James 4:6)

These are only a few scriptures concerning pride that condemn pride, being proud, arrogancy, highmindness, heady, lofty, etc. Pride is an evil condition of the conscience. There is a difference between being confident, filled with faith, and being selfwilled. One of the signs of pride is when someone talks more about their own self than they do about the one who actually deserves the credit, which is God through what is already written in the Scriptures.

The proud have been deceived that they are powerful because no one can humble them. What a great deception! What a strong delusion!  The proud feel unstoppable, and think that if they can maintain their pride unto the moment of their death that it is sign that God is with them. Someone can die proud, but one thing is sure that in the day of the Lord, that pride will be done away with at the presence of the Lord. In that day, the Lord shall punish the proud for their loftiness, and self will exalting themselves above the humble.

It was the self will (pride) of satan that condemned him when he begin to exalt his will above the will of God.

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I WILL ascend into heaven, I WILL exalt my throne above the stars of God: I WILL sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I WILL ascend above the heights of the clouds; I WILL be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. (Isaiah 14:12-15)

What satan was doing was not retaining God in his knowledge, and filling his own mind with his own will and prideful boastings. When someone exalts themselves because they are power hungry they are very close to being cut down by God Himself. You see, instead letting someone else praise them, they take it upon themselves to praise themselves to gain respect. Have they not read?

Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips. (Proverbs 27:2)

This includes writing about yourself in the third person like you are someone else praising yourself. They are self cheerleaders cheering themselves on! Vainglory. Pride is a contagious disease that spreads like a cancer, and eats everything up. The opposite of pride is humilty. This is the true mark of the people of God. When the Lord Jesus displayed humilty it destroyed pride, and the work of the devil just by making Himself of no reputation. This is what we need in this hour, humble leadership that will destroy pride. Praise God for raising up humble leadership that follow the example that the Messiah left us. Jesus’ ministry is the ministry that this is needed in this hour, one that is seasoned with strength, truth, stedfastness, and mixed with humility (the absence of pride). Praise God.

Seeking God

May 27, 2009

(1 Corinthians 2:9-16) But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

This passage comes to my mind when I think about seeking God. I remember when I was young people always used to tell me that no one could know what is in the mind of God. I almost believed it because I heard so many people tell me that. But when I read this passage, I had believe it more than what people told me. I like to believe in what people think is impossible for man to understand.

I remember one day laying on the grass in a park, staring up at a sky filled with stars. I could not hear all the noise of children playing around me because I was so focused on the beautiful night sky that I blocked everything out. I was so focused and attentive at the sight that I wished that I could hear the angels of God worshiping day and night, but I did not hear anything. I began to talk with God plainly, and said, “Lord, even though I cannot hear anything with my ears, I know it is not silent in heaven. I know that angels worship You without ceasing.” And then a curiosity captured my mind. I asked God, “Lord, what are You thinking right now, I wish I knew what You are thinking. What is on Your mind?” He answered me. He only said one word, “You.” I started crying because He thought of me. I did not even have the Holy Ghost inside me at that time. I had the desire to know the mind of God before God filled me.

I will never forget that night. From time to time, when I pray, I just ask the Lord, “What is on Your mind?” Sometimes He answers, and sometimes He doesn’t. I believe He does that so I can seek Him more. My desire to know God was more than just wanting to receive the Holy Ghost, I wanted to know His mind. When we received the Spirit of God we receive the mind of God also. The Spirit of God is not a “mindless” Spirit. God has a mind. If God is inside us, so is His mind. So are His thoughts, His feelings, His emotions.

I remember the night I received the Holy Ghost. I remember what it felt like. I remember hearing how many people described what it felt like when they first received the Holy Ghost, many would say, “I can’t explain it.” Well, that’s not my testimony. I know what it felt like. I felt every single emotion that God felt while His Spirit was joining unto my spirit. I felt God’s joy, and happiness, love, and compassion all at SAME TIME. I wanted to cry, laugh, shout, be silent, leap for joy, fall on my face all at the SAME TIME. I could not express all those emotions at one time, instead I heard tongues (languages) that I never heard or spoke before in my life. He used my tongue, and spoke through my mouth.

The Lord our God, is more than just God of our mouth, He is God of our hands, feet, eyes, ears, mind, and our whole body and whole being. Now that God is dwelling, and walking inside me, I want to know the deep things of God. Seeking God means not staying in the shallow things of God, but diving into the deep things of God. I am not saying that it is wrong to be in the shallow end. Everyone must start somewhere. But we should not settle to be in the shallow forever. If everyone only knew how beautiful, and how deep the mind of God is, if only you could just begin to see how deep it is. There is no end to the deepness of God, but just how far have you gone? You have the mind of Christ. That is deep!

The Church is not a man-made building

May 27, 2009

As I have said in previous posts, many today lack the understand of what is the Church. People think the Church is a building made with human hands. The Church is not a building made with human hands. In this post I am going to prove from Scripture that many people (even leaders) have a wrong understanding of what is the Church.

#1) Buildings made with human hands cannot fear nor hear anything.

And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things. (Acts 5:11)

#2) Buildings made with human hands do not have ears on them.

Then tidings of these things came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch. (Acts 11:22)

#3) Buildings made with human hands cannot be fed.

Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. (Acts 20:28)

#4) Buildings made with human hands do not fit inside houses.

Likewise greet the church that is in their house. Salute my wellbeloved Epaenetus, who is the firstfruits of Achaia unto Christ. (Romans 16:5)

#5) Buildings made with human hands cannot salute anyone.

Salute one another with an holy kiss. The churches of Christ salute you. (Romans 16:16)

#6) Buildings made with human hands cannot hear what the Spirit says.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. (Revelation 2:7)

#7) Buildings made with human hands do not have knowledge, reins, or hearts.

And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. (Revelation 2:23)

I hope I made my point from the Scriptures that the Church IS NOT a building made with human hands. If this is not plain, I don’t know what is. It does not get any plainer than this. Wait, I take that back. It does get plainer.

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? (1 Corinthians 6:19)

If someone who is in leadership or been in the Lord a long time cannot see or understand this, they are blind as a blind cave fish! I can understand how someone who has not been in the Lord can lack this understanding through tradition, but if leadership and people that have been in God for a long time cannot understand this, that is truly sad. For those that can see and understand that the Church is not a building made with human hands, praise God, your eyes are open.

I am not against having a building for THE CHURCH to come to. It is not a sin to have a building. The purpose of this post is to identify what the Church is, and what the Church is not. If someone knocks down the building where I worship God at, they have not “destroyed the Church.” We give the building a purpose, the building does not give us a purpose. Without the people of God, the building made with human hands is worthless.

Fake Man-made Altars

May 23, 2009

There are many people within the Church today that lack the simple understanding that the Church is not a building made with human hands, and as a result of this many believe in a modern-day practice which is called “altar call” that is not found within the pages of Scripture. Mind you, if we are the Temple of God, neither one of the altars (brazen or golden) are carnal altars. The brazen altar is repentance, and the golden altar is worship/prayer. The carnal altars were abolished when the Lord nailed them to His cross establishing the New Covenant.

The so-called “altar call” defends a backless bench, or a stepping area near the pulpit that people ignorantly call an “altar” through the tradition of men, and not according to what is written in the Scriptures. Did the apostles have this custom? Why is there NO RECORD of the apostles leaving us one single example of this practice? The so-called “altar call” practice is not an apostolic practice, but yet many apostolics have bit the hook, and are almost ready to be scaled. The practice known as the “altar call” is the invention of a man named Charles Grandison Finney (1792 – 1875), a former 3rd degree Master Mason. Charles G. Finney was the creator of what is called the “anxious seat” which was later transformed into a backless bench that people call an altar.

Charles G. Finney

Is our altar something made with human hands? No way! Only someone who is as carnal minded as Charles G. Finney would believe something like that! As I said before there is NOT ONE SINGLE EXAMPLE FROM THE SCRIPTURE of the apostles’ leaving us this modern day tradition. No apostle ever believed a man-made piece of furniture was an altar!

Let me make this clear, I am not speaking out against prayer at the end of a service, there is nothing wrong with having prayer at anytime. What I am speaking out against is calling a bench or piece of furniture “the altar.” Many of the so-called altars do not even come close in fitting the description of a biblical altar!

The fake modern day altar call is an non-apostolic practice, and not ONE SINGLE person that believes it can come up with ONE SINGLE SCRIPTURE to support it! You are God’s true sanctuary, the true golden altar of incense is within you, and you don’t have to come to a fake, unbiblical, non-apostolic altar to repent of your sins.

Bethel: The House of God

May 23, 2009

Where is God’s house? Is it a building made with human hands? Stephen, the holy martyr, testified to the Jews, “The Most High DWELLS NOT IN TEMPLES MADE WITH HUMAN HANDS.” Even our beloved apostle Paul, who heard these words come out of Stephen’s mouth, preached the same message the Gentiles saying, “God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that He is Lord of heaven and earth, DWELLS NOT IN TEMPLES MADE HANDS.” So where does God dwell, and what is His temple? Simple, our apostle wrote, “Know you not that YOU ARE THE TEMPLE OF GOD, and that the Spirit of God DWELLS IN YOU?” Many people today believe that God’s house, God’s temple, God’s Church is a brick, steel, or wooden building that is made with human hands. That is the reason the Jews stumbled at the words of Jesus saying, “Destroy THIS TEMPLE, and in three days I will raise it up.” Listen to the response of a carnal mind, “Fourty and six years was this temple in building, and will you rear it up in three days?” The apostle John went on to testify, “He spoke of the TEMPLE OF HIS BODY.” The Jews spoke of a temple made with human hands, but the Lord spoke of a temple that man did not make. To God be glory!

Our father David, King of Israel, wanted to build a house for our God, but Nathan prophesied unto our father saying, “I will set up your SEED after you, which shall proceed out of your bowels, and I will establish His kingdom. HE SHALL BUILD A HOUSE FOR MY NAME, and I will stablish the throne of His kingdom forever.” That “Seed” that Nathan prophesied about WAS NOT SOLOMON, it was Christ Jesus, the Messiah. The Lord Jesus said, “Upon this rock I WILL BUILD MY CHURCH.” It is also written in the psalms, “Except THE LORD BUILD THE HOUSE, they labor in vain that build it.” Our Lord was not talking about a building made with dead stones, but rather a building made with “lively stones” that “are BUILT UP A SPIRITUAL HOUSE” which are “the spirits of just men made perfect.” Glory be to God for the House, Temple, Church which the Messiah built, the gates of hell still have not prevailed against it as the Lord promised.

My Testimony About Worship (MP3)

April 30, 2009

MY TESTIMONY ABOUT WORSHIP

This is a testimony I gave last night about worship. We had a powerful service last night. One of our youth (Javonte Kipp) fell into a worship while the word was being preached, God filled him with His Spirit, and he spoke with real tongues from God!! God is still pouring out His Spirit upon true worshippers. Praise Jesus, the King of Israel!

You can be freed from sin!

April 28, 2009

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, “If you continue in my word, then are you my disciples indeed; and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. They answered him, “We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how say you, You shall be made free?” Jesus answered them, “Amen, amen, I say unto you, Whosoever commits sin is the servant of sin. And the servant abides not in the house for ever: but the Son abides ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed.”
