Fake Man-made Altars

There are many people within the Church today that lack the simple understanding that the Church is not a building made with human hands, and as a result of this many believe in a modern-day practice which is called “altar call” that is not found within the pages of Scripture. Mind you, if we are the Temple of God, neither one of the altars (brazen or golden) are carnal altars. The brazen altar is repentance, and the golden altar is worship/prayer. The carnal altars were abolished when the Lord nailed them to His cross establishing the New Covenant.

The so-called “altar call” defends a backless bench, or a stepping area near the pulpit that people ignorantly call an “altar” through the tradition of men, and not according to what is written in the Scriptures. Did the apostles have this custom? Why is there NO RECORD of the apostles leaving us one single example of this practice? The so-called “altar call” practice is not an apostolic practice, but yet many apostolics have bit the hook, and are almost ready to be scaled. The practice known as the “altar call” is the invention of a man named Charles Grandison Finney (1792 – 1875), a former 3rd degree Master Mason. Charles G. Finney was the creator of what is called the “anxious seat” which was later transformed into a backless bench that people call an altar.

Is our altar something made with human hands? No way! Only someone who is as carnal minded as Charles G. Finney would believe something like that! As I said before there is NOT ONE SINGLE EXAMPLE FROM THE SCRIPTURE of the apostles’ leaving us this modern day tradition. No apostle ever believed a man-made piece of furniture was an altar!

Let me make this clear, I am not speaking out against prayer at the end of a service, there is nothing wrong with having prayer at anytime. What I am speaking out against is calling a bench or piece of furniture “the altar.” Many of the so-called altars do not even come close in fitting the description of a biblical altar!

The fake modern day altar call is an non-apostolic practice, and not ONE SINGLE person that believes it can come up with ONE SINGLE SCRIPTURE to support it! You are God’s true sanctuary, the true golden altar of incense is within you, and you don’t have to come to a fake, unbiblical, non-apostolic altar to repent of your sins.

Whenever I pray, and wherever I pray I am at God’s true altar that is not made with human hands, an altar that man cannot steal or overthrow. If people would get the revelation what the true altar is, people will receive the Holy Ghost at home like Cornelius and his family did when Peter preached at his house. I have a spiritual altar of God that does not have limitations to a physical location.

Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice. (Psalms 141:2)

When I pray, I pray EVERYWHERE, not just inside a building made with human hands. When we pray at home, we are offering up incense upon the true altar of incense not made with human hands. When we lift up holy hands wherever we are at we are offering ourselves as a living sacrifice. If we are offering ourselves as an offering, what are we offering ourselves upon? GOD’S TRUE ALTAR MADE WITHOUT HUMAN HANDS! We must take up our cross (altar: place of sacrifice) DAILY.

I am going to make a final open comment because some slanderers and accusers have sought an occasion to use my blog to start gossip, and stir up strife. I am ending all the games, and moving on. If anyone wants to slander me any further I will let them continue to manifest their ungodliness. I don’t want anyone to get caught up in their game, it is me that they want. I am their target. Anyone that will testify that the things I write are true become targets of these roaring lions seeking who they may devour.

I will set a better example of the believers by remaining humble of no reputation instead of their pride, arrogance, and desire for preeminence among the true people of God. This is nothing new, the apostles faced this in their day with a man named Diotrephes.

(3 John 1:9-11) I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not. Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church. Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.

Praise God for those that were not offended by my posts about the true House of God, and God’s true altar. I am encouraged by the words of our apostle.

(Galatians 2:4-6) False Christians were brought in. They slipped in as spies to learn about the freedom Christ Jesus gives us. They hoped to find a way to control us. But we did not give in to them for a moment, so that the truth of the Good News would always be yours. Those who were recognized as important people didn’t add a single thing to my message. (What sort of people they were makes no difference to me, since God doesn’t play favorites.)

Amen, Brother Charlie. Let all those who hear, come to the true brazen altar and altar of incense. First carnal, then spiritual.

I praise God for giving Moses the parable of the altars and I thank Jesus Christ for the revelation of what these 2 altars were shadows of.

May the Lord Jesus continue blessing you with his mind and infinite wisdom…

Praise the name of Jesus! I remember when God opened my eye to see the truth about HIS ALTAR. So many so-called apostolic churches have picked up a non-apostolic tradition that is not found within the pages of Scripture. I knew from the first time I wrote about it that I was going to receive a lot of heat from the apostolic movement, but that is fine with me because I know it is the will of God for me to suffer for the Truth. God did not save me so I could become popular, He saved me to speak the truth even when it makes me unpopular like it did with the prophets of old.

When I first posted this post, I received a lot of criticism, but the main one that criticized me has now backslid and has become a blasphemer against the Holy Ghost. Criticism only endures for a season, and when it over the truth still remains. If the truth still remains, so will I be steadfast in the truth unmovable no matter how much people criticize me for speaking the truth. I won’t buckle under pressure, I will stand with God!

    Brazen altar = repentance
    Golden altar = worship/prayer

Neither one of the altars are limited to a specific location! You don’t have to wait to get to go the front of a building made with human hands to repent of your sins! You don’t have to wait to get to go the front of a building made with human hands to worship God! If you hear God’s voice TODAY, don’t wait till SUNDAY to repent of your sins! Repent TODAY! Don’t wait till you come to bible study or service on Sunday to worship God, you ought to worship God everyday! The fake man-made altars make people depend on carnal ordinances that they can only do when they come to a building made with human hands, instead of having a daily fellowship with the Almighty God.

I really thank God for you brother Brian. May God bless you beyond measure!
